11/90 Warrant Officer C.1. Daniel Stewart Morris recalls the landing of the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade at Gallipoli on the 10th-12th May, 1915. The Brigade was comprised of the Auckland Mounted Rifles Regiment, the Wellington Mounted Rifles Regiment, and the Canterbury Mounted Rifles Regiment. The Brigade served at Gallipoli as infantry their mounts being left behind in Egypt.
